Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of food items, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe area, including kitchen and dining spaces. Provide exceptional customer service, taking orders accurately and efficiently. Perfect barista coffees with latte art Support the team in managing inventory levels and restocking supplies as needed. Help with basic maths calculations for order processing and inventory management. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure timely service during busy periods. Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food preparation or a similar role is advantageous but not essential. Strong understanding of food safety practices. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and inventory counts. A positive attitude and willingness to help others within the team. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract

Pay: 12.70 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
