Searcys are looking for a Cafe chef to be an integral part in ensuring the smooth running of the recently opened cafe at Church House.
We're looking for a Cafe Chef who shares our love for great food, outstanding customer service, thrives in a busy kitchen and have a keen eye for detail to work on our handcrafted sandwiches and freshly baked pastries both sweet and savory.
Located in Westminster, Church House is a Grade II listed, multi-purpose event venue set across three floors and is home to 19 meeting and conference spaces. Part of The Corporation of Church House charity, first established in 1888, the venue is steeped in history with a rich heritage and notable links to royalty and parliament.

Job type: Zero hours contract
(mostly 7am - 4:30pm)
Monday - Friday
Salary: 18.50 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for the preparation of breakfast items, salads, sandwiches, quiches and desserts
To prepare a detailed handover with a full list of mis-en-place at the end of the shift
To manage your section with pride and undertake all tasks diligently
To comply with all Company and client policies, procedures and statutory regulations
Waste management
Any other reasonable request of Senior Management
Qualifications
Production experience (desirable)
Excellent standards and attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure
Very well organised and ability to prioritise work load
Strong communication skills
