Job Summary

We are looking for a Cook to join our team. Someone who is very passionate about food quality and taste! Someone who can deliver tasty food and be able to deliver quality in a fast paced cafe.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards. Assist in the planning and execution of meal preparation for special events or menu changes. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment. Collaborate with all staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed. Participate in training new staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Experience

Previous experience working in a commercial kitchen is preferred. Knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation methods, and kitchen equipment operation. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices is essential. Strong organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure in a busy environment. A passion for cooking and creating high-quality meals that delight customers.
