Key Duties
Lead and supervise cafe staff including baristas, servers, and kitchen team members to ensure smooth daily operations
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain consistent quality standards
Deliver excellent customer service, handling any issues promptly and professionally
Organise staff schedules, delegate daily tasks, and monitor performance to maximise team efficiency
Ensure full compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness across all cafe areas
Assist with food production during busy periods and support Kiosk operations as needed
Monitor stock levels, coordinate orders, and communicate with suppliers for timely replenishment
Promote a positive and welcoming atmosphere for both guests and team members
Implement training programmes to develop staff skills in food handling, service, and safety procedures
Qualifications & Skills
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or hospitality roles within a cafe or restaurant
Supervisory experience with strong team management and leadership skills
Solid understanding of food safety standards and legal compliance
Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities, especially under pressure
Previous experience in restaurant, cafe, or hotel environments is desirable
Barista experience is advantageous but not essential
Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to inspire and motivate staff
Strong communication skills with the ability to foster a collaborative, positive team culture
