Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic, enthusiastic and dedicated Cafe Manager to oversee the daily operations of our bagel shop. Immediate start is available. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong background in food preparation and production. As the Cafe Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring an exceptional customer experience while managing a team of staff in a fast-paced environment. Your leadership will help maintain high standards of service, quality, and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

Supervise and manage cafe staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations. Oversee food preparation and production processes, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Maintain high standards of customer service, addressing any issues or complaints promptly and effectively. Organise staff schedules and training sessions to enhance team performance and service delivery. Manage inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations. Ensure the shops are clean, organised, and welcoming at all times, adhering to hygiene standards. Assist in marketing efforts to promote the cafe within the local community.

Experience

Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a cafe or restaurant setting. Strong background in food preparation and production, with knowledge of culinary techniques. Demonstrated ability in team management, with excellent supervisory skills. Experience in customer service with a focus on creating positive dining experiences. Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to food service operations is essential.
