Job Description

Guajira is a coffee shop and cafe that recently opened just off the Royal Mile on St Mary's Street. Run by Indhira who is from the Dominican Republic, the cafe serves Caribbean & Latin American themed food and drinks.

The owner Indhira is looking for someone with cafe experience to join the business as a partner. A full time candidate will be awarded with options to own a 5% share in the business after 1 year, and a further 5% share after 2 years. This is a great opportunity for someone with cafe experience to own a 10% share in an exciting new venture.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

- Use their experience of other cafes to improve the processes
- Prepare and serve all menu items, both food and drink
- Ensure the working environment remains clean, tidy and safe
- Assisting in creating social media content on occasion

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED

- Must be able to make coffee confidently using a professional coffee machine
- Hard working and a desire to have responsibility as a part business owner
- Must be friendly, driven and customer focused
- Ability to work well individually, take initiative and contribute to a team
- Strong people and communication skills is crucial
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ideally experience managing other staff

Part time hours: 6-8 hour shifts, Saturdays and Sundays.

Immediate start!

Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 12-35 hours per week
Salary: 20,500 - 23,712 per hour depending on experience
