Key Responsibilities
Lead, train and support the cafe team to deliver consistent, high-quality service.
Oversee daily operations, including staff rotas, inventory, and cash handling.
Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
Manage supplier orders and stock levels efficiently.
Support and guide baristas and supervisors, ensuring quality in coffee preparation and customer service.
Handle customer queries and feedback professionally, maintaining a positive guest experience.
Monitor financial performance, labour costs and sales targets, reporting to senior management.
Implement promotional activities and support brand standards.
Qualifications & Skills
Minimum 1 year experience in a cafe or hospitality management role.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Knowledge and hands-on experience with espresso machines and coffee preparation (barista skills required).
Organised and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with POS systems and workforce scheduling tools (ICR Touch, Dojo, Nory/Deputy).
Strong communication skills, both with staff and customers.
A positive attitude, problem-solving mindset, and passion for delivering excellent service.
