We are open for brunch, lunch and afternoon tea daily. This is a fast past environment. No evening work required!

Summary



We are seeking a passionate experienced Cafe Manager to lead our team at Orange Pekoe in Barnes, SW13 . This role is pivotal in ensuring our guests receive outstanding service while upholding our commitment to quality and hospitality. The Cafe Manager will play a crucial role in enhancing the overall guest experience and operational efficiency. This is a hands on role, leading from the front. You must have 2-3 years experience in a similar environment and be prepared to work weekends.

Responsibilities



Oversee daily operations of the cafe, ensuring high standards of service and cleanliness. Manage staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling to maintain an efficient team. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain health standards. Work alongside our head chef and founder to develop and implement menu offerings that align with customer preferences and seasonal availability. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration. Handle customer inquiries and feedback to enhance satisfaction. Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations. Collaborate with upper management to develop strategies for growth and improvement. Manage our on line website and ensure all tea orders are processed.

Qualifications

Proven experience in food preparation and cafe management. Strong supervisory skills with a focus on team management. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in cafe and hospitality settings 2-3 years in a fast pasted environment. Experience in coffee 2- 3 years. A passion and enthusiasm for tea. Past tea experience desirable. Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff effectively. Culinary experience is an advantage but not mandatory. Fluent in oral and written English.
