We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cafe Manager to oversee the daily operations of our cafe. As the Cafe Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring food safety standards are met, and creating a welcoming environment for our patrons.

Duties

Supervise and manage cafe staff, providing leadership and support to ensure a cohesive team environment. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring high-quality standards are maintained. Implement food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations. Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to maintain efficient operations. Train new employees in food production techniques, customer service skills, and cafe policies. Develop and maintain menus that reflect seasonal offerings and customer preferences. Foster a positive atmosphere for both staff and customers, encouraging feedback and engagement. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to ensure satisfaction.

Requirements

Proven experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant or hospitality industry. Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices. Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team. Previous experience in cafe or barista roles is highly desirable. Solid understanding of kitchen operations and food production processes. Exceptional leadership qualities with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service. Background in hotel or restaurant management is advantageous.
