Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cafe Manager to oversee the daily operations of our cafe. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service in a welcoming environment. The Cafe Manager will be responsible for managing staff, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring the smooth operation of food production and service.

Duties

Supervise and manage cafe staff, fostering a positive team environment Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality and consistency Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in compliance with regulations Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and controlling waste Train new staff in culinary techniques, serving practices, and customer service excellence Develop menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and care Ensure efficient operation of all cafe equipment and facilities Collaborate with the team to create a warm and inviting atmosphere for guests

Experience

Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within a restaurant or cafe setting Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food production Familiarity with hospitality standards and excellent customer service skills Previous experience as a barista is advantageous but not essential Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is essential

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.50-14.25 per hour
