Duties

Supervise daily cafe operations, ensuring smooth service and adherence to quality standards. Manage food preparation and production processes, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Lead and train staff in culinary techniques, serving practices, and customer service excellence. Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels. Create a welcoming atmosphere for customers while fostering a positive team environment. Implement effective strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales growth. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas. Collaborate with the team to develop new menu items that reflect current trends and customer preferences.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a cafe or restaurant setting. Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation and cooking. Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production. Previous experience as a barista or within the hospitality industry is highly desirable. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both customers and staff. A passion for delivering exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for guests. Pay: 12.21-15.00 per hour
