About the Role

We are looking for an energetic, reliable Cafe Runner to join our team. In this role, you'll support the front-of-house team by ensuring food and drinks are delivered promptly, tables are well-maintained, and the cafe remains clean and welcoming. You will also work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service and efficient communication between the kitchen and the dining area. This is a fast-paced position ideal for someone who enjoys working with people and thrives in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

Run food and drinks from the counter to customer tables in a timely and accurate manner Work closely with the kitchen team to coordinate orders and maintain smooth service Provide friendly and attentive table service, including clearing plates and checking in with guests Assist with washing up, including dishes, cutlery, and cafe equipment Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, ensuring tables are wiped, floors are tidy, and service stations are stocked Support baristas and waitstaff during busy periods Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times Deliver excellent customer service and help create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests

About You

Positive, approachable, and customer-focused Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong teamwork and communication skills Good time management and attention to detail Willing to assist in different areas of the cafe as needed Experience in hospitality is a plus, but not required--training provided
