Duties

Prepare and serve food and beverages with attention to detail and presentation. Assist in catering events, ensuring all requirements are met efficiently. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons and addressing their needs promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe area, including dining spaces and food preparation areas. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the health and well-being of our customers. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly. Contribute to menu planning and suggest new items based on customer feedback.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or cafe setting is highly desirable. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and catering services is an advantage. Experience as a barista is beneficial, particularly in crafting specialty coffee drinks. A strong understanding of hospitality principles and customer service excellence is essential. Knowledge of food safety regulations is required to maintain compliance in food handling practices.
