We are seeking a fresh face to join the Honey+Harvey family in the role of Store Manager.
This is a wonderful opportunity to work in a growing business, built on the foundations of a passion for exceptional coffee and an inherent value of those we work alongside. We are looking to recruit a manager to take the cafe to new places, and be responsible for continuing on the reputation we have as a local cafe.
As manager you will be directly responsible for all aspects of running an award winning vibrant cafe. Our ideal manager is someone who will bring a positive and enthusiastic approach to their job and who believes in the nature of collective work and empowerment as key working ethics. This position is for someone who can motivate and inspire a team of baristas to help create and maintain a culture of professionalism. While working closely with our management team to ensure the high level of coffee & service delivered. This position would suit someone with excellent speciality coffee knowledge and plenty of experience within the industry.
In keeping with the company ethos, you will be driven to embrace the creative opportunities of developing aspects of the business, in order to keep the store current and established.
Your role is to:
Lead the team to ensure the coffee is always perfect
Recruiting and developing your team
Stock control and management
Being a supportive manager on site
Understanding the equipment and the beans
Having keen eye for detail and a passion for quality
Ensuring budgets and maintained and results achieved
Ensuring all staff stay focused
Ensuring health and hygiene standards are maintained above minimum legislative and company standards
Managing customer relations, ensuring they exceed customer expectations
Using effective priority management tools and techniques
Delivering team objectives and motivating the team to achieve them
Delegating responsibilities effectively
Supporting a culture of continuous learning
Measuring performance and providing effective feedback to team members
Create a fun and lively environment
Staff Scheduling
Whilst skill set is key, having a strong documented history of management is essential.Barista skills preferred, however not essential, full in house training will be given. The successful candidate will have a great personality with a positive 'can do' attitude, and would be the ideal addition to the current team we have.
