About the Role
As our Cafe Supervisor, you'll work closely with the management team to keep service running smoothly. You'll support staff on shift, handle customer queries, and help maintain the high standards our cafe is known for.
Key Responsibilities
Support with the daily operation of the cafe
Supervise front-of-house staff during shifts and provide guidance where needed
Maintain excellent customer service and assist with resolving issues
Carry out cash handling and till duties, including end-of-day procedures
Assist with stock checks, ordering, and general inventory tasks
Ensure all health, safety, and hygiene standards are followed
Help train new team members and encourage a positive team atmosphere
Assist with menu updates, specials, and general cafe improvements
About You
Previous experience in a cafe or hospitality role (supervisory experience preferred)
Strong communication and leadership skills
Friendly, supportive, and confident in dealing with customers
Organised and able to work efficiently during busy periods
Positive attitude with a willingness to take initiative
Flexible availability, including some weekends
