Catering Supervisor

to join our vibrant cafe team at our busy garden centre.

As our new supervisor, you'll be the heartbeat of the cafe - helping to manage the daily running of the kitchen and front-of-house, ensuring high standards are maintained, and delivering a warm, welcoming experience for every customer.

What You'll Be Doing:

Supervising day-to-day operations in the cafe Supporting and motivating a small team of staff Preparing and serving breakfasts, lunches, snacks, hot/cold drinks, and homemade cakes Maintaining excellent hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness standards Ordering stock, managing wastage, and assisting with stock rotation Assisting in rota planning and staff training

About You:

Experience in a catering or cafe environment (supervisory experience preferred) A hands-on, can-do attitude and a love for customer service Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask Food hygiene knowledge (Level 2 Food Safety certificate desirable) Friendly, approachable, and team-focused Available to work weekends and peak seasonal times
