Role Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and hands-on
Cafe Supervisor
to lead the day-to-day operations of our cafe. This role is perfect for someone with cafe or hospitality experience who is ready to take the next step in their career. You will oversee daily service, ensure high standards of food and drink are maintained, and support a small team to deliver exceptional service to our visitors.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and support cafe staff during service hours
Ensure smooth daily operations, including opening and closing the cafe
Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a welcoming atmosphere
Oversee food safety, hygiene, and health & safety compliance
Assist with stock ordering, deliveries, and stock rotation
Manage cash handling and till operations
Work alongside management to achieve sales targets and customer satisfaction goals
Lead by example to maintain high standards of presentation and efficiency
About You
Previous experience in a cafe, coffee shop, or hospitality environment (supervisory experience preferred)
Strong leadership and communication skills
A hands-on approach with a focus on customer service
Barista or coffee-making skills (desirable but training can be provided)
Knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety procedures
Reliable, organised, and able to work independently
