The Lift Cafe is a new and vibrant cafe located above Blitz HIIT, our high-energy fitness studio in Street. We serve healthy, delicious food, speciality coffee, protein shakes and smoothies to local residents, businesses, and our gym members. More than just a cafe, The Lift Cafe is a welcoming community hub where people can connect, recharge, and feel nourished.

The Role

We are looking for a friendly and motivated Cafe Team Member to join our small, passionate team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves great food and coffee, enjoys working with people, and wants to be part of a growing business with big ambitions.

Key Responsibilities

Delivering warm, attentive, and professional customer service Preparing and serving barista-quality coffee, protein shakes, smoothies, and cafe food Supporting daily cafe operations including food prep, stock management, and maintaining a clean and welcoming space Taking initiative to suggest improvements, new ideas, and ways to delight our customers Helping with social media content and engagement to share what makes our cafe special Communicating effectively with the team to ensure smooth service Helping to create a positive, uplifting atmosphere for all customers

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

A genuine passion for food, coffee, and healthy living Previous experience working in a cafe, coffee shop, or hospitality environment Barista skills and confidence making high-quality coffee drinks Excellent people and communication skills - you love connecting with customers Initiative and creativity - you spot opportunities, solve problems, and enjoy contributing ideas Interest in social media and confidence in showcasing cafe life online A proactive, can-do attitude and the flexibility to work as part of a small team A desire to grow with the business and play a role in shaping its future

Hours & Pay

Competitive pay based on experience Flexible hours, including some weekends Part-time and full-time positions available

Pay: 13.00-14.50 per hour
