This is an exciting opportunity to join our friendly team at Algar Lodge Farm Shop as a Cake Maker/Pastry Chef in our busy in-house bakery.
We are looking for someone creative, passionate, and reliable with a strong background in baking and food preparation. The ideal candidate will have a love for producing delicious, visually appealing cakes and desserts, with great attention to detail and a commitment to food safety practices.
The Role
As our Baker / Pastry Chef, you'll play a key part in producing our popular range of sweet treats. We make a wide variety of products in-house including:
Cakes & Cheesecakes Brownies & Blondies Tarts & Desserts Scones & More
Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing and baking a variety of products to a high standard of quality and consistency Following recipes and production schedules to meet demand Contributing creative ideas for new product development Maintaining excellent standards of food hygiene, safety and cleanliness Monitoring inventory levels of baking supplies and assisting with ordering
