Industrial Calibration Limited is a friendly, family-run business based in Kempston, focused on providing high-quality calibration services. As a small, supportive team, we pride ourselves on our professional service and quality-first approach.
We are looking for a practical and detail-oriented individual to join our technical laboratory. This is a fantastic opportunity to build a stable, hands-on career in engineering, even if you don't have prior experience.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity to become a skilled, multi-disciplinary Calibration Engineer. You will be trained to calibrate a wide variety of equipment across Electrical, Mechanical, Pressure, and Temperature disciplines.
This role is primarily based in our Kempston lab, with very rare occasions travelling to customer sites. Full training on our processes, standards, and calibration software will be provided.
This position is ideal for someone with a practical mindset, perhaps with a background or hobby in electronics or mechanics, who is looking for a long-term "hands-on" career.
Key Responsibilities
Performing calibrations on customer equipment to manufacturer specifications and British Standards.
Accurately recording results and creating detailed calibration certificates using our software.
Identifying and carrying out low-level repairs on instrumentation.
Cleaning and labelling equipment to a high standard before dispatch to the customer.
Assisting with the general maintenance and upkeep of the calibration laboratory.

The ability to work independently, manage your own time, and stay focused.

What We Offer
Excellent opportunities for progression and to build a specialist career.
