Senior Electrical Calibration Engineer

CoMech is a fast-growing calibration company that is looking for a new senior calibration engineer to join our team. Working in a bustling calibration lab with like-minded individuals. Job Details

Reporting to and working with the Head of Laboratory, the successful candidate will calibrate our customer's electrical or Temp & Humidity equipment in accordance with our documented procedures and in compliance with UKAS ISO 17025.

The roles and responsibilities of this exciting opportunity are:

To calibrate electrical instruments and devices to manufacturer and industry standards Providing support to the repairs team Opportunity to learn and spend time in different calibration areas such as pressure, Mechanical and Dimensional calibrations. Providing guidance to trainee and apprentice technicians

Qualifications and skills required:

To be considered for the role, the candidate must have experience in one or more of the following areas:

Calibration, quality inspection, quality control, electrical testing, fault finding and verification.

Desirable:

HNC/HND qualification equivalent Electrical or Temp & Humidity calibration experience in a laboratory environment Experience in another area of calibration such as Pressure (training in a notehr area can also be offered) Electronics repair experience Experience of METCAL software Full UK driving licence
