We are seeking a skilled Calibration Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience with electronic devices in a calibration and repair environment. This role involves ensuring that all equipment is calibrated accurately and maintained to the highest standards, contributing to the overall efficiency and safety of our operations. The Calibration Engineer will also provide exceptional customer service, addressing any queries or concerns regarding calibration processes.
Responsibilities
Perform calibration of various instruments and equipment according to established procedures and standards.
Perform inspection and repair activities on equipment returned from customers.
Communicate with customers regarding the status of their equipment and progress of repair and calibration activity.
Conduct regular maintenance checks on calibration equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with engineering teams to improve calibration processes and implement best practices.
Maintain accurate records of calibration activities, including results, any adjustments made and generation of calibration certificates.
Actively partake in wider production and manufacturing activities as required.
Skills and Attributes
Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on building positive relationships with clients.
Eagerness to learn and develop within role
A self starter, with a proven ability to work as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all tasks performed.
Experience and Education
GCSE Maths & English
T-Level, BTEC, NVQ or equivalent in Engineering or Manufacturing
2-3 years' experience in a similar role is preferred
Experience in operations environment, working with electronic devices.
