Site-Based Calibration Engineer
.
The Role
You'll deliver on-site calibration services at customer locations throughout the UK (and occasionally overseas), covering a broad range of disciplines including:
Training will be provided for areas outside your current expertise.
Expect an average of 2 nights per week away from home.
Some travel to Europe and further afield may be required occasionally.
What You'll Need
We're looking for a hands-on engineer with:
Minimum 2 years of experience in calibration, with expertise in at least
two
of the following disciplines: electrical, dimensional, optical, mass, torque, pressure, force or temperature, etc.
Strong understanding of calibration principles and practices.
Electrical calibration experience is
highly desirable
.
Knowledge of
BS EN ISO/IEC 17025:2017
and
Transmille ProCal
software is a plus.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Proven ability to work independently.
A flexible, positive attitude - early starts (5-6 am) and occasional fifth-day or weekend work may be required.
Full UK driving licence (3 points or fewer).
