How You Can Play Your Part:
As a detail-oriented professional you will ensure all calibration and inspection activities meet AS9100 standards. You'll calibrate mechanical and electrical equipment, manage schedules, resolve non-conformances, and support production to minimise downtime.
You Will:
Perform in-house calibration and inspections, ensuring traceability to national standards.
Maintain calibration records, schedules, and methods.
Resolve calibration failures promptly and support audits.
Collaborate with QA, production, and external calibration providers.
Read and interpret technical drawings and use precision tools.
About You:
Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO/IEC 17025 standards.
Experience in mechanical/electrical calibration and inspection.
Proficient with precision tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges).
Ability to read technical drawings and apply GD&T.
Experience with calibration management systems (e.g., ATMS).
CMM operation/programming experience.
Aerospace sector experience.
BTEC Level 3 (or equivalent) in Engineering, Metrology, or related field.
Additional calibration/inspection certifications advantageous.
Strong cross-functional calibration experience, ensuring consistency and compliance across departments
