Job Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. This position requires a strong understanding of quality assurance processes. The Quality Assurance Inspector will work closely with production teams to maintain compliance with industry regulations and internal protocols.

Duties

Conduct first off inspections of parts at various stages of the production process to ensure compliance with quality standards. Analyse inspection data and prepare detailed reports on findings, identifying trends and areas for improvement. Complete Full Article Inspection Reports when required. Collaborate with production staff to address quality issues and implement corrective actions as necessary. Allocate material and parts during the production process and maintain all relevant documentation. To interpret engineering drawings and written criteria, applying the requirements to verify product using various types of measuring equipment. Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and other quality assurance activities. Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and policies. Goods inward inspection Maintain calibration equipment and keep detailed logs.

Experience

Proven experience in a quality assurance role within a manufacturing or engineering environment is desirable Knowledge of working with different grades of metal Some experience of reading technical drawings Knowledge of using a range of measuring equipment such as verniers etc. and maintaining records. Assists with the implementation of corrective actions and writing reports for non-conformities. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey findings clearly.
