Primarily responsible for handling telephone calls and providing high-quality administrative and reception support to GPs, the Practice Manager, and the wider Primary Health Care Team.
Responsibilities
Managing a high volume of incoming telephone calls
Responding to patient enquiries with empathy, professionalism, and discretion
Providing administrative and clerical support to clinical and management staff
Processing incoming documentation, electronic messages, and clinical coding
Accurately recording information on electronic patient records
Using initiative to support the smooth running of the practice
Experience
Previous office experience or administrative background is essential
Familiarity with computer skills including data entry, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), is essential
Proven organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
Strong typing skills for efficient data entry and record keeping
Clerical experience that demonstrates attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
Excellent communication skills with a professional phone manner
Experience in a call centre or customer service role is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate

Pay: From 12.21 per hour
