Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day tasks of the practice, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow
- Manage and coordinate administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and handling prescription requests and queries
- Develop and implement office policies and procedures to optimise efficiency and productivity
- Maintain a professional and welcoming environment for patients, addressing their inquiries and concerns in a timely manner
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless coordination of patient care
- Handle confidential patient information with utmost discretion and adhere to Data Protection Laws
Candidate must have call handling experience and / or general practice experience:
In addition:
- Strong clerical skills, including typing, data entry, and phone etiquette
- Basic IT skills
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
