is looking to recruit a

CMAHS Therapist

to join their team. Hours for this sessional role are flexible and will be scheduled according to the centre's requirements. Ideal candidates will have availability with some regularity, while specific hours may vary depending on demand, we aim to provide match our client and patient need with your availability to Practice.




These Sessional roles are self-employed and ideal for Therapists either looking to step into private practice for the first time, benefiting from Priory's structure and supported approach, or for those simply looking to expand their existing independent practice, benefiting from Priory's regular flow of clients and insurer registrations.

What you'll be doing





Whilst you will be self-employed, you will not work in isolation. Sessional Therapists with Priory can expect to contribute as part of our compassionate team who are committed to our patients wellbeing.




We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. You will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients.

What you'll bring to the role





Our work is rewarding but can be challenging, so resilience is key. No two days are the same! Your natural empathy will help you support others through both the highs and lows.



To work with Priory as a sessional therapist or psychologist, we ask that you ideally have a minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience, and can demonstrate a good level of clinical experience in your chosen field, CAMHS.



You will be able to demonstrate you are able to offer strong clinical judgement, excellent communication skills and able to adhere to good organisation and clinical governance; which will include the use of digital platforms, concise clinical notes and attending risk management meetings as required.

Accreditation with an approved professional body is required - which includes HCPC, UKCP, BABCP, BACP, NCPS (Senior Accreditation), BPC, ACAT, ACP (relevant to the type of modality you wish to offer). We can consider 'working towards accreditation' in certain circumstances, and can discuss this on a case by case basis as long as you are able to confirm that you can submit accreditation within 12 months of being offered a role.
