Langford Vets is pleased to invite applications for a full-time Registered Veterinary Nurse position within our Canine Medicine department.
The successful candidate will work alongside a friendly team of nurses and animal care assistants who are passionate in providing gold standard care. Our caseload involves nursing patients from a selection of the hospital departments including chronic medicine, acute medicine, oncology, and cardiology.
As a medicine department we carry out a variety of investigations which includes endoscopy. We have a range of scopes and imaging facilities which the candidate will receive full training on to allow support of the clinicians with their workups.
We are a busy service so the ideal candidate will work well under pressure and be happy to work independently when required.
We are looking for a nurse with at least one year's experience working as qualified.
You will be involved with teaching and supervision of Veterinary and Veterinary Nursing undergraduates on clinical rotations, so a certain level of confidence is required to be able to instruct and support them, as necessary.
Participation on a weekend rota is necessary.
