We're looking for a Canteen Supervisor to lead our canteen operations and keep our staff well-fed! If you enjoy creating tasty menus, maintaining top hygiene standards, and working in a friendly environment, this role is for you.

Duties

. Ensure compliance with 'Safer Food Better Business' standards to maintain a 5-star

Food Hygiene rating.

Plan and produce weekly menus for staff.

Prepare and cook a variety of hot and cold breakfast and lunch options daily.

Carry out off-site food shopping as required.

Operate the till, handle cash, receipts, and maintain accurate bookkeeping.

Prepare buffets for meetings when required.

Maintain general canteen cleanliness and hygiene standards.

Apply knowledge of food storage, rotation, and allergy awareness.

Record all temperature checks accurately.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food preparation or catering services would be an advantage Passion for delivering consistently great food. A focus on customer service and a positive outlook. Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and inventory management. Previous experience of supervising is an advantage A driving license and your own transport would be desirable as the role will carry out food shopping. A basic Food & Hygiene certificate is preferable however full training can be given.

Hours - 37.5 per week

Monday - Thursday:

07:15 am - 03:15 pm ( hour lunch break)

Friday:

07:30 am - 12:00 pm (15-minute tea break)

Additional:

4 hours per week for off-site shopping

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 28,000.00-29,132.00 per year
