Hours:

45 hours per week, Monday to Friday (start and finish times will vary depending on business needs)

On-Call:

Participation in the on-call rota is required

Holidays:

22 days annual leave plus bank holidays

Smart Platforms is seeking a CAP Engineer to join our team at the Dartford depot. This is a full-time role focused on maintaining the access side of our vehicle-mounted platforms. The position requires strong mechanical knowledge of plant or access equipment and the ability to carry out statutory inspections in accordance with LOLER regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspection, servicing and repair of boom structures, outriggers, and hydraulic components Conducting LOLER inspections and certification Fault diagnosis and resolution on the access side of vehicle-mounted platforms Completion of job sheets and maintenance records Adhering to safety protocols and company procedures Participating in the on-call rota as required

Requirements:

Proven experience in a plant, access, or CAP engineering role LOLER certification competency Relevant mechanical qualifications or time-served equivalent Strong understanding of hydraulic and structural systems Full UK driving licence
