In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the successful delivery of our capital build portfolio. You will work closely with the Project Director to manage project processes, financial activities, and formal documentation, while ensuring projects progress smoothly through key stages. This includes producing high-quality reporting, engaging with internal and external stakeholders, and taking ownership of smaller project areas to help drive effective and efficient project outcomes.

As a

Capital Build Manager (Assistant PM)

, you will support the delivery of the capital build portfolio, working closely with the Project Director to ensure successful project execution. This role involves financial oversight, documentation management, reporting, communication, and taking the lead on smaller projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the capital build portfolio in collaboration with the Project Director.


Oversee and execute financial processes, including:

Timesheet approvals Payment claims Procurement requisitions

Prepare and maintain key project documentation such as change notes, technical queries, and formal contract-management documents.


Produce project forecasts and monthly financial reports.


Manage internal and external communications, including progress updates, risks, and issue reporting.


Lead on assigned small-scale projects.

Skills & Experience Required

Proven experience in the setup and delivery of projects. Strong financial awareness and analytical capability. Understanding of project management principles, frameworks, project lifecycle stages, and stage gate processes. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Ability to anticipate challenges and work proactively on solutions.
