2gether Support Solutions is a Facilities and Estates services company providing support to healthcare professionals caring for over 2000 patients daily across multiple East Kent hospital sites. 2gether provides vital services including maintenance, cleaning, catering, procurement, logistics and much more.

The Role




We are seeking a skilled and motivated Project Manager to lead and deliver capital projects within healthcare estates. This is a rewarding opportunity to join a dedicated team within the Technical and Capital Directorate, helping to shape and improve healthcare environments across the region.


As Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards - supporting clinical services and enhancing patient care.


Key Responsibilities:

To support the Senior Capital Project Manager and Associate Director of Capital & Property with the implementation of the Estates Strategy and ensure that developments are planned to cause minimum disruption to patient services, with direct responsibility for discreet projects. Lead and manage capital projects up to 10 million in value across Trust estates. Oversee design, development, and construction processes, ensuring quality, cost control, programme delivery, and full audit records. Ensure compliance with HTMs, statutory regulations, CDM regulations, and BREEAM standards. Liaise with clinicians and stakeholders to develop and deliver technical solutions that meet operational and clinical requirements. Manage and coordinate internal and external consultants including architects, engineers, and surveyors. Promote energy conservation, environmental improvements, and compliance with risk management and health & safety policies.

About You:




To succeed in this role, you will bring:

Qualifications

: Degree-level education (or equivalent experience) in Building, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or full corporate membership of CIOB, RICS, RIBA, IEE, IMechE, CIBSE, or IHEEM. Prince II (or equivalent) is desirable.

Experience:

Proven track record of managing complex capital projects, ideally within healthcare or the public sector, including responsibility for budgets, contracts, and multi-disciplinary teams.

Knowledge & Skills

:

+ Strong understanding of design development, CDM regulations, and building services.
+ Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
+ Budgetary control and financial management expertise.
+ Competence in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, MS Project) and knowledge of AutoCAD (desirable).
+ Ability to manage risk effectively and deliver innovative, sustainable solutions.
A collaborative, proactive, and professional approach, with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a complex environment.
