Maidstone Autocentre, a family-run business for 30 years, is the leading used MX-5 site in Kent.

We're seeking an enthusiastic person to join our team as a valeter. Your role will be to ensure that vehicles are in excellent condition, both inside and out, providing a positive experience for our customers.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to train and grow with us. The vacancy is open to all ages, previous experience will be a benefit but not essential. A valid UK Driving License is required, and you'll work as part of a small team.

Responsibilities:

Thoroughly clean the interior and exterior of both customer and dealer vehicles to a high standard, paying close attention to detail to ensure spotless and presentable vehicles.

Be friendly and professional when interacting with customers and staff.

Adhere to company policies, safety guidelines, and quality standards when performing valeting duties, including following specific procedures and instructions for vehicle cleaning and maintenance.

Requirements:

Keen eye for detail to ensure thorough vehicle cleaning and presentation.

Good time management skills to ensure vehicles are cleaned and prepared within designated timeframes.

Effective communication skills to interact with team members in a professional and friendly manner.

Valid clean UK Driving License to move vehicles within the site or to external locations if necessary.

Flexibility and Adaptability: Be willing to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, as well as adapt to changing schedules and priorities.

Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the site.

Please note that this position may require standing for long periods of time and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
