We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our team. Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair automotive issues using schematics and technical manuals
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections
Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for repairs and assembly of vehicle components
Conduct equipment repairs and ensure all machinery is in good working order
Maintain a clean and organised work environment while adhering to safety protocols
Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs
Assist with heavy lifting as required during repairs or installations
Engage in welding tasks as needed for specific repairs or modifications
Skills
Proficient understanding of automotive schematics and mechanical systems
Strong mechanical knowledge with practical experience in automotive repair
Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
Experience in assembly tasks related to vehicle components
Knowledge of maintenance procedures for various automotive systems
Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients
Capability for heavy lifting, ensuring safe handling of parts and equipment
Experience in equipment repair, demonstrating problem-solving skills in a workshop environment
Welding skills are advantageous, enhancing the ability to perform diverse repairs
