Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Classic Car Mechanic to join our team - On a full time, part time, or freelance basis.

The ideal candidate will have vast experience with various different classic cars. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicles, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely. The Mechanic will work on various vehicles and the Director of the business will be on hand to support.

Duties

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues. Perform maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, welding, and restoration. Utilise hand tools and power tools for repairs and assembly of vehicle components. Conduct equipment repair and perform welding tasks as needed. Communicate effectively with Director of business. heir vehicle's condition and required repairs. Assist in heavy lifting of automotive parts and equipment as necessary. Ensure the workshop is organised, clean, and compliant with safety regulations.

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex systems. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Experience in assembly and repair of automotive components. Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients. Capability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Familiarity with welding techniques is an advantage. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
