to join our small, friendly team. The main focus of this role is the preparation and cleaning of used vehicles to a high standard for sale, while ensuring the showroom and forecourt remain clean, tidy, and welcoming at all times.

varied and hands-on role
within a close-knit team, where flexibility, a proactive attitude, and a willingness to assist across all areas of the business are essential. You will play an important part in ensuring that our vehicles and premises reflect the high standards our customers expect.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Full valeting of vehicles for sale, including machine mopping, polishing, interior shampooing, and detailing
Ongoing maintenance cleaning of stock vehicles, including post-test drive and post-service cleans
Touching in minor paint imperfections (not spraying)
Use of wet vacs, buffers, and appropriate cleaning products to ensure high-quality results
Regular upkeep of the showroom, office areas, and outdoor display spaces
Vehicle collections and deliveries to and from customers, workshops, and suppliers
Assisting customers and answering enquiries when other team members are busy
Answering the telephone when necessary and taking accurate messages
Light office and occasional computer-based tasks during busy periods or staff absence
Prioritising daily workload based on sales team requirements and business needs
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment in line with health and safety standards
Requirements
Full UK driving licence (clean) -
essential
Aged between
25 and 65
for insurance purposes
Previous valeting or automotive experience
preferred
but not essential
Strong attention to detail and pride in achieving showroom-quality results
Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks in all weather conditions
Excellent time management and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Friendly and professional manner with a customer-focused approach
Punctual, dependable, and able to adapt to changing priorities as required
