Full Time Caravan and Motorhome Maintenance Technician Role

We are looking for a skilled person with experience of mobile

Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning

systems

to join our team of mechanics and coach builders maintaining high-end luxury leisure vehicles.

Requirements

5+ years of experience

Proven experience and knowledge of AC and DC electrical installation, auxiliary vehicle heating, and air conditioning.

Needs to have a keen eye for detail and the ability to work to a high standard

Must be reliable and have good time keeping

Must be able to work well in a team

Must have the ability to fault find and problem solve

Good understanding of Health and Safety at work (with relevant training course certificates)

Ideally with background in one or more of the following luxury market sectors - luxury leisure vehicles, high-end yachts/motorboats, bespoke horse boxes with living quarters, custom built film and TV location vehicles.

Some examples of ideal skills and experience

12v, 24v and 240v AC and DC distribution and charge circuit design, installation, alternation, battery isolation

32/3 phase integration (landline charging and 3 phase AC compressors)

Solar charge circuit systems installation

Hot and cold water system (e.g. toilets, sinks and showers) and diesel heater installation

Air conditioning and heating installation, integration with existing vehicle systems, and servicing

Lamp to LED conversions, CanBus

Installation of AV equipment

Auxiliary and habitation appliance installation service and repair (eg fridges, TVs, etc)

Remuneration and hours

Full time position / 40 - 45 paid hours per week excluding breaks

Overtime will be available when required during busy periods

Competitive rate of pay, in line with applicant's experience
