Responsibilities

Assist residents or clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility Support individuals with their care plans, ensuring personalised care is delivered effectively Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance residents' quality of life Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in health or behaviour to supervisors Assist with medication administration following prescribed guidelines Promote independence by encouraging participation in activities and routines Follow health and safety procedures diligently to ensure a safe environment for all Communicate effectively with team members, residents, and their families to ensure consistent care delivery

Skills

Driving licence is desirable for home care roles requiring travel between locations Experience working within a care home or providing home care is advantageous Knowledge of care plans and ability to implement them accurately Proficiency in using IT systems for record keeping and communication purposes Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively Compassionate nature with a genuine interest in supporting others' well-being Good understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to care environments

Pay: 12.50-13.00 per hour
