We are a 32 bedded nursing home in Shrewsbury, we are part of the Capital Care Group and we are currently looking for Day and Night Care Assistants-Part time/ full time hours available

RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensuring that high quality care is delivered to all of our residents.

Supporting our residents with personal hygiene and continence care

Supporting our residents with their mobility, this may include hoisting individuals

Ensuring that our residents received adequate diet and fluid intake

Ensuring that we are compassionate with residents who are poorly or who are receiving End of life Care

Ensuring that you have a understanding of Elderly / Dementia Care.

Overall you need to be caring individuals who wants to make a difference in our residents life's.

Salary: 12.25-12.82 per hour, depending on NVQ qualifications

DBS to be applied for before commencement- 64.20

Qualifications

NVQ qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent Experience in dementia care and supporting individuals with complex needs Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Proficiency in IT for documentation and care planning Ability to drive and access various care home locations Familiarity with developing and implementing care plans in a home care setting
