Care Assistant (days Or Nights)
Job Description
We are looking to recruit enthusiastic and committed Care Assistants to join our care team providing excellent care to our residents at Bingley Wingfield Nursing Home. We have roles for both 2, 3 or 4 days or nights a week (22, 33 or 44 hours). We are also looking for bank staff.
It is a homely care home which places our residents at the heart of everything we do. We want care staff who understand how important person centred care, dignity and respect are when providing good care. Carers who are committed to delivering high quality care will fit in well with our established experienced team.
The positions rotate through seven days a week. Care Assistants work under the supervision of senior carers and registered nurses and look after the physical, mental and social needs of the residents. You will help to maintain the resident records in the home, which have recently changed to electronic records.
Previous experience in the care industry is preferred but we will consider applicants new to the sector. A personalised induction and training programme will be developed for all our new employees.
