Mornings/Afternoon/Evening shifts (7 am-10 pm or 2 pm-10 pm) + alternative weekend rotations

What You'll Do

As a Care Assistant, you'll provide essential personal care and support to clients in their own homes, helping them maintain independence and dignity.



Daily responsibilities include:



Personal care: washing, dressing, toileting assistance Medication reminders and basic health monitoring Meal preparation and assistance with eating Light housekeeping and laundry Companionship and emotional support Mobility assistance and transfers Completing care records and handover notes Communicating with families and healthcare professionals

A typical day:

Visit 4-8 clients within a 5-mile radius, spending quality time with each person rather than rushing between calls.

Essential Requirements

Valid UK driving licence and own vehicle (mileage reimbursed at 25p/mile) Right to work in the UK. Genuine compassion and patience for supporting vulnerable adults Physical capability to assist with mobility, lifting, and personal care tasks Reliable communication skills - able to read care plans, write clear notes, and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues Dependable attendance - clients rely on consistent care. Availability for afternoon/evening shifts and weekend rotations

Desirable Experience

Previous care work in any healthcare setting Experience supporting elderly or adults with disabilities Understanding of safeguarding, dignity, and person-centred care Basic first-aid knowledge

What We Offer



Competitive Pay & Benefits:



Starting rate: 12.21/hour (new to care), progressing to 18.60/hour (qualified/experienced) 28 days annual leave Enhanced rates: Time and a half on bank holidays, double pay on Christmas Day Travel time is paid between clients. Milege: 0.25p per mile travelled. Pension scheme
