Permanent, Part-Time

Hours:

24.5 hours per week

Shifts:

7:00 AM - 2:00 PM | 3 shifts on, 3 shifts off (includes weekends and public holidays)

About Towy Castle

Set within three acres of landscaped grounds overlooking the Towy estuary, Towy Castle is a 61-bed residential care home providing high-quality support for older adults, including those living with dementia. With a long-standing team and over 35 years of experience, we deliver care that's both professional and deeply personal.

Your Role

As a Morning Care Assistant, you'll help residents begin their day feeling supported, respected, and comfortable.

Responsibilities include:

Assisting with personal care such as washing, dressing, toileting, and hygiene Supporting mobility, mealtimes, and morning routines Providing emotional reassurance and friendly companionship Monitoring health and wellbeing, reporting any concerns promptly Maintaining a safe, tidy, and homely environment

What We're Looking For

You'll be a great fit if you are:

Naturally caring, patient, and compassionate Reliable and committed to delivering high standards of care A team player with strong communication skills Calm, adaptable, and able to respond to residents' changing needs Willing to work on a rolling rota, including weekends and public holidays

Experience in care is welcome but not essential
