Requirements of a Care Assistant:

Must hold a full and valid UK or EU/EEA driving licence and have access to own vehicle

Must have current right to work in the UK -

We do not have license to issue CoS

Be able to offer availability early mornings and offer availability at least every other weekend

Located within a 5-mile radius of Leeds

Have or be willing to obtain class 1 business vehicle insurance

Duties will include:

Motivating Clients to get the most out of their day

Personal care

Administering medication

Assisting Clients with washing and dressing

Shopping

Housekeeping

Meal preparation

Taking Clients for appointments or outings

Right at Home Leeds East covers the following areas: Beeston, Chapel Allerton, Gipton, Halton, Headingley, Horsforth, Leeds Waterfront, Middleton Park, Moortown, Oulton, Rothwell, Roundhay, Seacroft, Swillington, Temple Newsam and the surrounding areas, so knowledge of the local area is an advantage.

If you have experience as a Care Assistant, Support Worker, Carer, Heath Care Assistant or Former Nurse we would love to hear from you. However, if you do not have experience, we provide full training and encourage candidates from all sectors to apply.
