About the Job:
We are in need of a Carer/Personal Assistant to provide support and care overnight. The night shift is from 10 pm to 8 am, 1-3 nights a week, which can be discussed during application. Nights can be flexible as there are a team in place working on a monthly rota.
This is a permanent position and is a payroll job. A Northern Ireland police check will be required and will be done on acceptance of the position, prior to commencing work.
Tasks Involved:
Duties primarily include provision of support with personal care and adjusting position while our daughter is sleeping. Due to her being severely disabled, there are also other duties that will be required, which involves catheters, suction, venting, administering medication, applying oxygen and peg tube feeds. Training is provided by the community nurse if required on commencement of the post.
Relevant previous experience working with disabled children and with some of the duties described above would be desirable.
