To assist in the running of Enfield Carers Centre, co-operating with all stakeholders to provide a high-quality service for carers and their families in line with the aims, objectives, policies, and standards of Enfield Carers Centre.
Key Responsibilities
Service Coordination
Forward planning and coordination of Care Support Worker schedules on a monthly, weekly, and daily basis.
Ensuring all shifts are covered and rotas are sent out in a timely manner.
Providing up-to-date handovers for the on-call rota and participating in the on-call rota (approximately once every three weeks).
Undertaking needs assessments and re-assessments in the community.
Conducting risk assessments and re-assessments.
Preparing, implementing, and monitoring care plans.
Responding to phone and email enquiries from clients and staff.
Assisting with the supervision of care staff, including recruitment, training, induction, supervision, appraisal, and team meetings.
Reporting any accidents/incidents to senior managers for investigation.
Quality Assurance
Ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and internal quality standards.
Carers and Their Families
Building and maintaining relationships with service users to assess satisfaction and identify future needs.
Representing service users' views in appropriate forums.
New Business Development
Contributing to business planning by identifying unmet needs in the community.
Identifying staff training needs and contributing to the annual training plan.
Promotion of Services
Representing the organisation as required.
Supporting promotional activities, including presentations and talks about Enfield Carers Centre Services.
Other Duties
Adhering to the Code of Conduct and health and safety legislation.

Person Specification
Essential
Minimum of
5 years' solid experience
in a similar role.
Proficient in
Care Access Planning
and
Webroster
systems.
Willingness to participate in the
out-of-hours phone rota
(once every three weeks).
Willingness to
undertake care calls
on occasion.
Strong
administrative skills
and attention to detail.
Ability to remain
calm under pressure
.
Experience in:
Working within social care
Providing social care services
Managing care staff (including supervision and appraisal)
Working in a domiciliary care setting
Skills & Abilities
Excellent communication and customer care skills
Strong computer and literacy skills must be proficient in Microsoft 365
Effective people management
Ability to conduct care needs and risk assessments and develop care plans
Competence in operating scheduling systems
Sound decision-making and resource management

Knowledge
