Job Summary


We are seeking a highly organised and professional Nursing Home Administrator to oversee daily operations within our care facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, managing staff, and maintaining high-quality resident care. This role requires strong administrative skills, excellent communication, and the ability to lead a team effectively. The position offers an opportunity to contribute positively to the wellbeing of residents while maintaining efficient facility management.

Duties



Oversee the daily operations of the nursing home, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning Manage staff schedules, recruitment, and performance evaluations Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and legal requirements Maintain accurate records using various software tools including Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, and data entry systems Liaise with healthcare professionals, residents' families, and regulatory bodies Handle administrative tasks such as billing, reporting, and correspondence using office software and Google Workspace Monitor budget adherence and optimise resource utilisation Provide exceptional customer service through professional phone etiquette and organisational skills Facilitate staff training programmes and ongoing professional development initiatives

Qualifications



Proven experience in office administration or clerical roles within healthcare or similar environments Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively Experience with data entry and maintaining detailed records accurately Demonstrated ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously in a fast-paced setting Good phone etiquette and communication skills essential for liaising with residents' families and healthcare professionals Previous administrative experience in a healthcare setting is highly desirable Familiarity with regulatory standards related to nursing home operations is advantageous

Pay: 12.21 per hour
