Job Description
Evedale Care Home is in a quiet Coventry neighbourhood, close to shops and public transport for easy visiting. We provide residential and nursing care, including support for complex medical needs. Specialist teams deliver 24-hour nursing and nursing dementia care with compassion and expertise.
Role:
We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Care Home Assistant Practitioner to join our team.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Senior/Team Leader role within a nursing or care home setting.
Proven supervisory experience in a nursing or care home environment.
Holds a minimum Lead Practitioner in Adult Care Level 4 (or equivalent) qualification and has completed Medication Training.
Responsibilities
:To provide personal care and support to residents using a person-centered approach under the direction of the management within the home.
To know and understand the care and support of the resident's.
To encourage independence and maintain residents' skills and abilities in all aspects of daily living where possible. To assist residents in all aspects of their daily living.
Assist with the assessments of nursing care needs Plan, deliver, and evaluate individual care/ treatment plans in consultation with residents, their relatives, and the care team.
Participate in care staff supervisions, reviews and inductions, and orientations of care staff.
To ensure that medication is administered and managed in accordance with Company Policies and Procedures.
