Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organised cleaner to join our small family run care home based in Poulton. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in a care home setting ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for all residents, visitors and staff. This role requires a proactive approach to cleanliness, with significant focus on infection control.
Responsibilities
Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming in designated areas. Ensure all restrooms are clean and well-stocked with necessary supplies. Carry out deep cleaning tasks as required. Maintain cleanliness in all communal and residential areas. Ensure privacy and dignity is maintained whilst cleaning resident's personal areas Ensure positive and effective communication building good relationships relationships with residents and families. Complete cleaning documentation. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Experience
Previous cleaning experience in a social care setting is preferred but not required. Familiarity with cleaning products and equipment is advantageous. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, reliable, honest and compassionate.
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: 12.60 per hour
Expected hours: 24 per week
