We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Care Home Cleaner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and staff. Your contributions will directly impact the quality of life for those living in the care home, ensuring that all areas are hygienic and well-presented.
Duties
Perform thorough cleaning of resident rooms, common areas and restrooms, to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
Execute floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and carpet cleaning as required.
Ensure proper sanitation practices are followed in all cleaning processes to maintain a healthy environment.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing any resident concerns or requests regarding cleanliness.
Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and report any shortages or equipment issues to management.
Adhere to safety protocols while performing janitorial tasks to prevent accidents or injuries.
Requirements
Previous experience in residential cleaning is preferred but not essential.
Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is a plus.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents and staff.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Position is for Saturday and Sunday 9am to 1pm
Position is subject to a clear DBS and 2 references.

Pay: 12.40 per hour
